It has been a busy month for the hall, with the very successful production of the Knicker Lady on the 18th and 19th March. Rosemary Hawthorne (a vicars wife) played to a full house on both nights with a hilarious romp through the history of the humble Knicker. She transported the audience through 250 years of bloomers, briefs and bustles as she presented the colourful characters that wore them in her own unique and enigmatic style. The two nights raised an amazing £722 for the Village Hall fund, which will go towards refurbishment and keeping the hall as a focal point for the village.
The three new committee members have been hard at work behind the scenes this last month. Doug Johns has taken up the role of treasurer for the Management Committee and Emma & Ben Fitzgerald are developing public relations and have created a new website for the Village Hall.
